Stormwater Matters has won an award in the annual Better Newspaper Contest sponsored by the New Jersey Press Association. The initial series won first place in the Lloyd P. Burns Memorial Award for Public Service category. Judges commented that the series “invites readers to immerse themselves in quality, in-depth reporting on an issue that is affecting every community across the nation.”
The NJPA annually presents awards across a variety of categories in its Better Newspaper Contest. The award ceremony will take place on April 27, 2023 at the Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township, NJ.
