MORRISTOWN – Tina Lindsey remembers riding boats to school during floods.

Lindsey, 70, is a lifelong resident of Morristown, specifically of its neighborhood called “The Hollow,” the town’s lowest point in elevation and where the Whippany River makes a horseshoe bend.

“Yes, the flooding has gotten better,” said Lindsey, who joined the Morristown Town Council in January. “The town is really working hard. The mayor is working hard, trying to correct this area, but it’s a process. But it has gotten better.”
