An Environmental Exploration of South Mountain Reservation & Storm Water!

A 6-mile hike exploring South Mountain Reservation followed by a lively discussion about storm water and its effect on our community.
Leaders of the Stormwater Matters collaborative will speak with walkers as they explore the trails. At the end of our hike, we will gather at the Millburn Library (or local cafe, TBD) for discussion and complimentary refreshments.
You might ask, “Why is this an important environmental issue?” You may remember what happened during Hurricane Ida a few years back. Devastation. Total neighborhoods and businesses were flooded out and more….
